You and I will meet at my yurt with lots of green space surrounding it and have the option to either sit inside the yurt or walk and talk in the surrounding countryside. Nature offers a variety of sensory experiences that I tailor to individual needs. Being in green space helps to address sensory sensitivities and promote sensory regulation whilst undertaking therapy. This therapeutic approach can often feel less clinical, more relaxed and more human.
The aim of eco therapy for neurodiverse supports you to feel more empowered and less like you’re being observed or corrected. A space where you can unmask and just exist.
